Two Children Injured in Unintentional Shootings

A girl said to be younger than 10 years old, is expected to survive after she accidentally shot herself in Atlanta, Georgia. The circumstances of the shooting were not reported, but the girl’s father, 34-year-old Brandon Spruill, has been charged with reckless conduct and cruelty to children.

And in Mountain City, Tennessee, a three-old child was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the left arm, and is in reportedly stable condition. The sheriff said the shooting was accidental, but no one has been charged so far as officials continue to investigate.
