Two-year-old Finds Father’s Gun and Shoots Mother

In a Fort Pierce, Florida home, a two-year-old child shot their mother with a gun their father had left out on a bench. After finding the gun the child pulled the trigger, sending a bullet through a wall that struck the mother in the leg while she stood in the kitchen washing dishes. She was taken to the hospital for treatment. So far no one has been charged, as the sheriff’s office continues to investigate.
