Woman Killed in Drive-by Shooting

In her Greenville, South Carolina home, Maria Esperansa Rico, age 24, was killed by a bullet from a drive-by shooting. She was not the intended target; a relative who also lived there had an ongoing dispute with the shooters. Three men were all charged with murder and conspiracy, with two also facing a charge of possession of a weapon during a violent crime. In addition, an 18-year-old was charged with obstruction of justice after giving misleading information to authorities about the gun used.
