Two Hunting Accidents in Alaska

In Tuluksak, Alaska, two juveniles, ages 12 and 14, were hunting when the 14-year-old sustained a minor gunshot wound near his right elbow. Officials determined that the discharge occurred because a loaded rifle was improperly handled, and continue to review the incident.

And in Kodiak, Alaska, a 38-year-old man was accidentally shot in the groin when he placed his shotgun on top of another gun in the bed of his truck. He was taken to the hospital and is stable condition.
