Man Injured by Homemade Shotgun

In Monroe, Louisiana, a man sustained a non-life-threatening injury to his hand after he was struck by the discharge from a homemade shotgun. He had noticed what looked like a pipe in a trash can while he was waiting at a bus stop, that was later determined to be a homemade 12-gauge shotgun. Police recovered the pipe and a shotgun shell and continue to investigate the incident.
