Two-year-old Boy Shoots Himself With Father’s Gun

In Memphis, Tennessee, a two-year-old boy is in stable condition after shooting himself in the neck with his father’s gun. The boy’s father, Devin Carter, said he sent his son into the bedroom to get his tablet, then shortly after, heard a gunshot and found his son wounded. Investigators recovered a Glock 23 under a tarp in the backyard, and inside the home found an AR-style gun and cannabis. Carter was charged on multiple counts including aggravated child abuse, aggravated child abuse-edangerment, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
