19-year-old Killed After Being Unintentionally Shot in the Head by Boyfriend

Nina Ramirez, age 19, was killed after she was accidentally shot in the head by her 19-year-old boyfriend, Sebastian Prestridge, in her family home in Lawrenceville, Georgia. She was pronounced dead at the scene and Prestridge has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. 

Her mother said that her daughter, Prestridge, and a group of friends were sleeping over at the house and passing around a gun that belonged to one of the friends not realizing it was loaded. She said that Prestridge loved her daughter. “When you get mad and these things happen, you want to find someone guilty, but I think it was just an accident.”
