19-year-old Man Killed in Unintentional Shooting

A 19-year-old man in Glasgow, West Virginia, was killed instantly by the discharge from a gun that he thought was unloaded. Witnesses said that the victim and another boy were playing with the gun, when the 19-year-old pointed it at himself and pulled the trigger. Drugs were not involved, but the sheriff’s department is investigating the accident to determine if alcohol was a factor.
