Two Women Shot are Innocent Bystanders, One is Killed

During a shootout in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 27-year-old Jasmine Johnson was killed after she got caught in the crossfire. She was shot in the back while on the porch of a home, and ran inside where she collapsed and died. That home, and another on the block, were struck multiple times. Close to two dozen shell casings were recovered at the scene, and police believe that at least one rifle was used. They continue to investigate.

And in Manhattan, New York, police believe someone targeted a 21-year-old man who was shot in the leg, also injuring a 63-year-old woman who was an innocent bystander, and was shot in the foot. Both were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are looking for two male suspects as they continue to investigate.
