High School Freshman Accidentally Shot and Killed by Another Juvenile

In Evansville, Indiana, 14-year-old Jayvion’tae Cox was unintentionally shot at his home by another juvenile who thought the gun was unloaded. He died at the scene. The other juvenile was arrested and charged with reckless homicide and dangerous possession of a firearm. Officials continue to investigate.

According to a GoFundMe page, Jayvion’tae , who was called “JoJo,” was “…outgoing and such a goofball.” He was a high school freshman who played basketball and football. He loved music, and hoped to become famous one day.
