Toddler Killed After Finding Father’s Gun

Three-year-old Gionni Jackson, fatally shot himself in the head after finding an unsecured gun in his home in Struthers, Ohio. His father told police that while he was in the bathroom, the boy grabbed the gun that was on his dresser. The father and a woman were driving the boy to the hospital, but pulled into a parking lot when he stopped breathing. An ambulance responded and took him to the hospital where Gionni died from his injuries. So far no one has been charged, but the county sheriff’s office is investigating.
