17-year-old Boy Accidentally Shot and Killed by Older Brother

Near their home in Roswell, New Mexico, Bryan Bueno, age 17, was accidentally shot and killed by his 19-year-old brother Diego Bueno-Ibarra. The brothers were hanging out with other people, drinking alcohol and shooting off fireworks. They sat across from each other in the beds of two vehicles. Bueno-Ibarra raised up a gun he was trying to fix and pulled the trigger, striking his brother in the head. The 17-year-old died at the scene. Bueno-Ibarra was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter and negligent use of a deadly weapon.
