Two Young Boys Injured in Unintentional Shootings

In St. Anthony, Minnesota, a three-year-old boy sitting inside a vehicle found a loaded gun there and shot himself in the head. He is in stable condition at the hospital following surgery. Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances of the shooting before deciding if criminal charges will be filed. 

And a five-year-old boy was airlifted to the hospital after being shot in the abdomen by an eight-year-old relative in a home in Joliet, Illinois. It is believed the eight-year-old found the gun in a bedroom of the home. No one has been charged in the incident, but the investigation remains open.
