Two People in California Injured in Accidental Shootings
A law enforcement officer was injured in an accidental shooting at the county superior court in Susanville, California. The officer was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg. The shooting is under investigation.
And a teenager accidentally shot himself while running from police in Visalia, California. Police were pursuing a stolen car when the car crashed, and two teenage suspects ran from the scene. One of them had a gun that discharged during the pursuit. The two teens were charged on multiple counts including negligent discharge of a firearm.
