One Man Killed by Stray Bullet, Another Injured Himself with Zip Gun

In Memphis, Tennessee, Jorges Reyes was killed by a stray bullet that flew into his bedroom while he was watching a movie with his wife and their one-year-old grandson. According to his son, their neighbor was involved in a shootout with other people that continued as they crossed onto their property. At least four bullets came through the walls of Reyes’ home. Police have photos of the suspected shooters, but so far no one has been charged.

And a man in Houston, Texas accidentally shot himself with an illegal zip gun he had made. He is expected to recover from his injuries. The shooting is under investigation, and will determine if any charges will be filed.
