Toddler Killed After Finding Loaded Gun at Home

A three-year-old boy found a loaded, unsecured gun in his Tucson, Arizona home, and fatally shot himself in the head. His father, 23-year-old Anthony Noriega, told police that he “keeps all the firearms loaded with a round in the chamber” all around the home, acknowledging that they were unsecured and could be easily accessed by his children. The handgun used was left in a drawer in the three-year-old’s room. Noriega was charged with negligent homicide and domestic violence endangerment.
