Actress and 15-year-old Boy Hurt in Gun Accidents Today

In Austin, Texas, 40-year-old actress Christy Carlson Romano, was shot in the face while on an outing to celebrate her husband’s birthday. They were shooting clay pigeons, when another member of their party accidentally shot Romano. She was hit by pellets near her eye, and was successfully treated at the hospital.

And in Aurora, Colorado, a 15-year-old boy shot himself in the hand, but originally told police that he was shot when two men tried to rob him. He ran home after he shot himself, and someone there took him to the hospital. Police are asking the public for any information about the case.
