Teen Accidentally Shoots and Kills Himself

In a home in Alliance, Ohio, a 17-year-old killed himself when a gun he was handling accidentally discharged, striking him in the head. He was with four friends when the shooting happened, and was pronounced dead at the hospital. A police spokesman said that drugs and alcohol may have been a factor, and noted that we “…keep having kids hurting themselves because they think playing with guns is acceptable.” The investigation is ongoing.
