Two Fatal Gun Accidents in Illinois
In Waukegan, Illinois, 28-year-old Leobardo Diaz was accidentally shot and killed inside a vehicle. He was shot in the back by 31-year-old Fredi Aquilar Carrasco, who walked away from the scene, and then fatally shot himself in a yard nearby. There were four people in the vehicle; the two witnesses said there was no intentional reason for the shooting, they were all friends. Officials continue to investigate.
And in Chicago, Illinois, 12-year-old Priscilla McCullough got ahold of her mother’s gun and fatally shot herself. According to her mother, she was playing with the gun in a bathroom when it unintentionally fired. Her mother also told police that the gun was usually locked up in a safe. Detectives are investigating.
