Driver Unintentionally Shot by Passenger During Traffic Stop
In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 21 year-old Cameron Knighton accidentally fired his gun in a vehicle that police had pulled over for a traffic violation. He was in the car with the driver and another passenger, and had unintentionally shot the driver who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Knighton initially took the gun and fled the scene, but was later caught and charged with multiple counts, including aggravated battery and resisting arrest.
