Teen Accidentally Shoots and Kills Older Brother

A 15-year-old in his home in Texas City, Texas, accidentally shot and killed his 17-year-old brother, Joshua Gonzales. The boys’ father collapsed and died trying to save Joshua. Few details were reported about the shooting. The district attorney’s office will determine if any charges will be filed. 

In a statement from the school district where Joshua was a student, “[w]e are deeply saddened by the loss of one of our students, and our thoughts are with the family and all those who cared for them during this difficult time.”
