Man Killed Clearing Firearm at Gun Range, and Woman Accidentally Shot by Husband
At a gun range in Fort Worth, Texas, a man was killed trying to clear his malfunctioning firearm. The gun unintentionally fired striking him in the forehead. He died at the scene. Police are investigating, but say it appears to be “purely accidental.”
Waking up to a commotion, 28-year-old Adrian Eddinger took his gun from the nightstand and accidentally shot his wife in Tucson, Arizona. She is in critical condition. He said his eyes were closed and he didn’t see anyone before shooting at the door to the bedroom. When he heard his wife say “[b]aby, you shot me,” he realized he shot his wife. Eddinger admitted that he had smoked marijuana and took melatonin that night. He was arrested, and faces a domestic violence-aggravated assault charge.
