Teen Killed After Friend Drops Gun

A 15-year-old boy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, dropped a gun that fired killing his 15-year-old friend Kentrell Royal. He was charged with negligent homicide. The victim’s father said his son was his best friend, and was well loved by everyone. He is hoping the senseless tragedy will bring more awareness about the dangers that guns pose to juveniles. “I just want any other kid or parents to know, hide y’all guns, put y’all guns up. If you aren’t old enough to be having it, don’t fool with it. Cause it’s only gonna take you to one place: dead or in jail.”
