Self-inflicted Gun Accidents Kill Three-year-old Girl and Man
In a Louisville, Kentucky apartment, three-year-old Aubree Goss found a loaded gun and fatally shot herself. Her father, E’Monta Goss, admitted to police that he fell asleep after he had “loaded and placed the handgun underneath a couch inside the apartment,” and woke up when the gun fired. He has been charged with manslaughter and possession of a firearm as someone with a prior felony conviction.
And in Fresno, California, 44-year-old Solomone Toki was found shot to death in what was later determined to be a self-inflicted accidental shooting. He suffered a gunshot wound to his thigh, and an AK-47 type pistol was discovered underneath his body. Homicide detectives and the coroner’s office are investigating.
