Teen Playing with Gun Leads to One Man’s Death

In Valdosta, Georgia, several teens were playing with a gun that fired, striking 20-year-old Amarius Dakwon Shivers in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A 15-year-old has been charged with murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a minor. “…This is a tragic incident affecting two families, which would not have occurred, if juveniles were not playing with a gun,” said the police chief.
