Four-year-old Shot Self in Vehicle, and 15-year-old Critically Injured After Gun Accidentally Discharged
A four-year-old boy shot himself while waiting in a vehicle at a business parking lot in Sacramento, California. He is expected to recover. His mother was inside a business at the time of the shooting, and has been charged on multiple counts, including criminal storage of a firearm and endangering the life of a child.
And in a home in San Antonio, Texas, a gun accidentally discharged, critically injuring a 15-year-old boy. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The teen was with a 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy, and it appears that one of them brought the gun. They are considered suspects, but so far no charges have been filed.
