Eight-year-old Boy Shoots Self in Parked Car

In Roberta, Georgia, an eight-year-old boy shot himself in the leg while left unattended in a parked car. He was taken to the hospital and later released. The boy’s 29-year-old mother and another adult have been charged in the incident. His mother was charged with second-degree cruelty to children, and the other person with reckless conduct with a firearm.
