Fans Run for Cover When a Security Guard’s Gun Goes Off at a High School Football Game
An off-duty security guard accidentally shot himself at a High School football game in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Players and fans rushed for the exits, according to the school. The security guard suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The game, between Wisconsin Lutheran and Milwaukee Lutheran, was called off after the incident. The school said it would be reviewing safety protocols. “We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe environment for our students and all who are involved with our football program,” the school added.
