Two People Injured in Unintentional Shootings
A 13-year-old boy sustained a gunshot wound to his hand in an accidental shooting in Waterloo, Iowa. He was treated at the hospital for the injury. Police found blood and a spent .380-caliber shell casing at the boy’s home, as they continue to investigate.
And in Houston, Texas, an armed man threatened people inside an apartment who allegedly owed him money. Someone inside the apartment pulled out a gun and shot the man multiple times critically wounding him. A stray bullet also entered a nearby apartment hitting another man in the wrist. Police say that man will be OK. It is unclear at this time if any charges will be filed in this ongoing investigation.
