13-year-old Girl Unintentionally Shot in Leg by Stepfather

In Redford Township, Michigan, during a fight between 51 year-old Christopher Delance Harris and another unidentified adult, Harris drew a gun that discharged and accidentally hit his 13-year-old stepdaughter in the leg. The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover. Police captured Harris and recovered two handguns near the scene. Harris was charged on 12 counts including firearm possession by a prohibited person, and carrying a concealed weapon.
