High School Junior Killed Playing with Guns
In a Wilton Manors, Florida home, one of the guns that Christopher Granados, age 16, and another 16-year-old were playing around with unintentionally fired, hitting Christopher in the head. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Officials recovered two handguns at the scene, and the 16-year-old suspect was charged with manslaughter with a firearm.
Christopher was an 11th grader at the local high school. One student said he was “a good guy…he always made everybody laugh and he was always a good person.” He added, that losing classmates “happens too easily.”
