Man Injured When Guard Tries to Disarm Him and Gun Accidentally Fires

A security guard in Long Beach, California, intervened in an argument between two groups of people when he saw that one of them had a gun. When the guard attempted to disarm him, the handgun unintentionally discharged and one of the arguers was shot. Everyone fled before police arrived, but the gun was recovered at the scene. Later, it was determined that a man who showed up at the hospital with a gun shot wound was the suspect in the shooting, and he was arrested.
