Two People Killed in Gun Accidents, Including a Four-year-old

In Brusly, Louisiana, four-year-old Hudson Tassin fatally shot himself with a gun he found in the console of a pickup truck. According to the sheriff’s office the gun was in a holster in the console, and the child found the gun when an adult left the truck to adjust a trailer. After police complete their investigation of the shooting, the case will be sent to the district attorney’s office to determine if any charges will be filed.

And in a home in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, 17-year-old high school junior, Hunter Sipple was accidentally shot and killed by 18-year-old Michael Crawn Jr. Crawn eventually confessed to police that he was fooling around with a semi-automatic pistol that discharged hitting Sipple in the chest. The superintendent of the school district said grief counselors will be available to any student or staff who needs them. The coroner and police are continuing to investigate.
