Two People Injured in Gun Accidents
In Poplar Bluffs, Missouri, a 23-year-old man was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injures after he unintentionally shot himself in the leg. He got rid of the gun before calling authorities, and is not cooperating with the investigation.
And in Gloucester City, New Jersey, 67-year-old Deborah Strang was sitting in bed when she was struck by a stray bullet. She was not seriously injured. According to police, 51-year-old Francisco Griffin was outside arguing with a woman when he fired his gun. The bullet went across the street and into a 2nd floor window, where it ricocheted off Strang’s tv hitting her. Griffin was charged on multiple counts including possession of weapon, unlawful possession of a weapon, and aggravated assault.
