Man Unintentionally Shot by Acquaintance
A 24-year-old man was accidentally shot by an acquaintance, 26-year-old Kenyon L. Best, in an apartment in Parsons, Kansas. Best took the victim to the hospital in critical, but stable condition. Police recovered evidence including a 9mm handgun, and determined through their investigation that Best had also been drinking. Best has been charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and possession of a firearm while intoxicated.
