Three Men are Killed, and One is Injured, in Unintentional Shootings

In a Carrollton, Kentucky gun store, a customer was examining a firearm when it unintentionally discharged, fatally striking 50-year-old Chad Wainscott with a single round. State police continue to investigate, but don’t anticipate any charges being filed.

A man in Maricopa, Arizona was killed by what police believe to be an accidental discharge while he was cleaning or assembling his gun. No other information has been reported.

And in Florence, South Carolina, two men were shot and taken to the hospital; one was shot in the arm, and a 19-year-old was shot in the chest and later died. Deputies believe the shooting was accidental, but there is ongoing investigation.
