Child Unintentionally Shot Through Face by Friend

Although their injuries are not considered life-threatening, a Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina juvenile was unintentionally shot in the face by a friend. “[The bullet] entered one side of their face and proceeded to exit from the opposite side of their face. The bullet eventually landed in the victim’s shoulder after exiting the face,” investigators explained.  The shooter is not yet in custody but is known to police.  There is no report about where the children got the gun.
