Two Injured in Unintended Shootings
A firefighter was treated for minor injuries after he unintentionally shot himself in a Phoenix, Arizona fire station. He was placed on administrative leave as police investigate the incident to determine what happened.
And in Nashville, Tennessee, two men allegedly assaulted an employee in the parking lot of a convenience store when he tried to stop them from stealing two cases of beer. One of the men, a 26-year-old, was shot in the arm by a customer who tried to intervene. The customer’s gun unintentionally fired when he tried to pistol whip the 26-year-old. Police found the injured man walking down the street and took him to the hospital.
