Uncertain if Guns Were Loaded, Two People Injured in Unintentional Shootings

An employee at a gun store in Southington, Connecticut, accidentally shot himself in the hand while handling a pistol he thought was unloaded. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.

And in Lewisburg, Kentucky, Clifford Harper was checking to see if a shotgun was loaded when it unintentionally fired, striking Denita Harper. She is reportedly in stable condition at the hospital. The county attorney’s office will review the case once the investigation is complete.
