Accidental Shootings Claim the Lives of Two People and Injure Two Others

In an apartment complex in Rockledge, Florida, 18-year-old Carlie Bell was accidentally shot and killed. The suspected shooter is cooperating with police in this ongoing investigation.

In Alexandria, Louisiana, Jeremiah Dorsey, 17, was arrested and charged with negligent homicide in the shooting death of 21-year-old Devyn Sells. Few details reported as police continue to investigate.

An employee of a 7/11 in Newport News, Virginia, accidentally shot himself outside the store during an argument with another person. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are investigating.

And in a vehicle in Beaverton, Oregon, police found an 18-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. The other occupants of the car fled the scene before police arrived, and the teen was taken to the hospital. Investigators found a rifle is some bushes nearby that led them to 20-year-old Mario Galindo. Galindo was charged with third-degree assault and recklessly endangering another person.
