Four People Injured in Accidental Shootings, Three as Innocent Bystanders
A man was injured after shooting himself in the stomach with a gun he was handling in an apartment in San Antonio, Texas. Police were unable to locate the gun as they continue to investigate the incident.
A man in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, fired shots at a fleeing car that had just collided with him, throwing him off his scooter. The gunfire injured three innocent bystanders; a 47-year-old teacher was struck when a bullet came through her windshield; a 35-year-old man on the street was hit in the leg; and an 8-year-old girl in a car with her father was in stable condition after sustaining a gunshot wound to the head. Police are trying to locate the shooter.
