Boy and Woman Injured in Unintentional Shootings

In Jackson, Mississippi, a 12-year-old boy was playing with a gun and unintentionally shot himself in the knee. Police say the child will be OK, as they try to find out how he gained access to the gun.

And in Brooklyn, New York, a gunfight in a smoke shop spilled out onto the street sending bystanders running for cover. A 39-year-old woman waiting for the bus was struck in the leg by a stray bullet. She was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.
