Woman Shot with Ghost Gun
In a probable gun accident, Kimberlin Gatewood of Syracuse, New York, age 27, was shot and killed by her partner with a ghost gun. According to the medical examiner, the shot was fired at “some distance” from the victim. Maurice J. Giles, 30, was arrested and charged with second-degree manslaughter, alleging he recklessly caused Gatewood’s death. Giles was also charged with criminal possession of a ghost gun.
