One Person Killed and Three Others Injured in Accidental Shootings

A man was accidentally shot and killed by his friend in Miramar, Florida. The suspect is cooperating with police and not facing charges although police continue to investigate.

In Memphis, Tennessee, a woman who became aggressive and refused to leave a convenience store at closing, was accidentally shot in the arm by a clerk. The 23-year-old clerk, Sai Pavan Kumar Bikki, said the woman began punching another clerk in the face, and when he grabbed a gun to scare her, it unintentionally fired. A security camera captured the incident, and Bikki has been charged with aggravated assault.

And at a shooting range in Alamo, Texas, two people were injured in an accident during a firearms training session. Eight police officers were shooting at a vehicle when shrapnel returned and struck a female officer and a firearm instructor. The police department is investigating the incident.
