Boy and Man are Hurt in Separate Accidental Shootings

In Montgomery, Alabama, a boy accidentally shot himself and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No other information was reported.

A man was injured by an accidental discharge in Morrisville, North Carolina. The victim told police that he saw a friend in a gas station parking lot, and while they talked the friend’s gun unintentionally fired. The victim is stable at the hospital that briefly went into lockdown, which according to a spokesman, is standard procedure when law enforcement is involved, and the patient is a shooting victim. There is no report concerning whether charges will be filed.
