Mistaken Fatal Shooting of Woman Believed to Be Intruder
According to authorities, a 38-year-old man shot and killed the woman who lived with him, 31-year-old Tiffany Angel, in the mistaken belief that she was an intruder at his home in Bucyrus, Missouri. No charges have been filed but the case is still under investigation. One factor that may come into play as authorities decide if the man should face criminal charges is Missouri’s “Castle” doctrine which allows people to use deadly force to protect their homes.
