Three People Unintentionally Shot

A 17-year-old girl was treated and released at the hospital after being shot in the foot by a 16-year-old boy in Watertown, South Dakota. The two were in an apartment where people were drinking alcohol, and when the group started handling a loaded pistol, the 16-year-old unintentionally shot the girl. He has been charged with multiple crimes including possession of a firearm while intoxicated and possession of a pistol by a minor.

In San Antonio, Texas, an 18-year-old accidentally shot himself in the leg fleeing from the scene where he had burglarized a vehicle. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. There is an ongoing investigation.

Shots were fired outside of a house party in Champaign, Illinois, injuring a university student. Two men were involved in an altercation and began shooting at each other striking the innocent student, who was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police are asking that witnesses contact them to help with the investigation.
