Three People Are Hurt in Accidental Shootings, Including a Boy Shot by his 6-year-old Brother

A 9-year-old boy is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after his 6-year-old brother accidentally shot him in Jacksonville, Florida. There were two adults and five children in home at the time of the shooting. Police are working to determine where the gun was located when the boys found it and who it belonged to.

A woman in Evansville, Indiana arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound from an accidental shooting. Few details have been reported.

And in Newport, Vermont, Miranda Chaput, 31, was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds to her lower extremities. She reportedly told police she was injured when her gun accidentally discharged. Police are investigating.
