A 16-year-old is Unintentionally Shot by a 14-year-old, and Three Men are Injured During Altercations
A 16-year-old is in critical condition after being accidentally shot by a 14-year-old in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. The teen was shot inside a home, but it is unclear if they lived there. Few details have been reported as police continue to investigate.
Jonathan Larkin, 29, unintentionally shot himself and a 28-year-old man during an altercation under an overpass in Augusta, Georgia. Larkin told police that when he went to grab his gun to protect himself, it went off, hitting him in the arm and the other man in the leg. Police recovered a Century Arms Canik 9mm gun. Both men were treated at the hospital and Larkin has been charged with aggravated assault.
And in Stringer, Mississippi, an altercation left Steven Delrio in critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head. Witnesses said that Delrio was arguing with Jimmy Ross Bufkin over some property, when Delrio allegedly threatened to shoot Bufkin with a rifle. Bufkin got the rifle away from Delrio and during the ensuing fight, Delrio tried to take a .45 caliber revolver away from Bufkin. The gun unintentionally fired, striking Delrio in the head. The case is under investigation.
