Two Innocent Bystanders are Injured, and a Man Shoots Himself in the Leg While Clearing a Gun
A husband and wife in Fort McDowell, Arizona heard gunshots, and then the woman was struck in the arm. She was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It’s unknown who fired the shots or where they came from. Detectives are investigating.
Another innocent bystander is struck, this time in Indianapolis, Indiana. A girl was hit by a stray bullet while at a yard sale. She is in the hospital and is listed as “awake and breathing.” Police don’t believe the girl was the target and are asking the public to call in with any information.
In Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, a man in a vehicle was attempting to clear his pistol when it unintentionally fired, hitting him in the leg. He was in the vehicle with two other men who were uninjured. He was treated and released from the hospital and may face a charge of carrying a concealed weapon without a permit.
